"Omitting" is what you should do with the idea of buying a laptop from Best Buy in light of their poor customer service. Yes, it is maddening to call any company in 2011. Here's a tip that will spare you a lot of grief: Next time you're in the market for any kind of product, make sure that it wasn't made in China. I know this a shameless plug but when you find an honest mechanic you tell everyone you know even if this mechanic is your brother. My brother won't sell you crap you don't need, make up excuses as to why he didn't get back to you, and he's very fluent in the English language.
